PROCEDURES FOR APPLICATION, SELECTION, REGISTRATION, AND FEE STRUCTURE<\/strong><\/p>\n

These procedures shall guide the application, selection, and registration of students to pursue accredited programmes offered by the Bank of Tanzania Academy. Students are selected based on their individual merits.<\/p>\n

Application Procedures<\/strong><\/p>\n

(i) Students shall apply through the Academy\u2019s Online Application System (oas.bot.go.tz), where:<\/p>\n

(ii) They shall give full particulars of the personal information, contacts, and educational background information.<\/p>\n

(iii) A postgraduate applicant is required to attach\/enclose photocopies of relevant academic certificates, transcripts, and other relevant documents.<\/p>\n

(iv) For Postgraduate applicants, they must pay a non-refundable application fee of TZS. 20,000\/. All fees must be paid directly to the designated Academy\u2019s Bank Account.<\/p>\n

Selection Process<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Academy is responsible for making selection decisions on all applications to its programmes in line with the Academy and NACTVET Guidelines. The Academy shall have published information on its website relating to its selection criteria, procedures and decision notice. For all programmes, the selection process shall be made based on the entry requirements specified in this prospectus.<\/p>\n

Only the names of selected applicants will be published on the Academy website, and a formal admission letter and joining instructions will be collected from the Academy\u2019s admission office or emailed to the respective applicant.<\/p>\n

Further, selected applicants may access joining instructions on the Academy\u2019s website for self-downloading and printing, and will be returned duly filled to the Academy upon reporting for registration purposes.<\/p>\n

Registration<\/strong><\/p>\n

For registration purposes, students shall produce the following documents:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Admission letter issued by the Academy.<\/li>\n
  2. Original academic certificates and transcripts.<\/li>\n
  3. Original Birth certificate\/ evidence of citizenship.<\/li>\n
  4. Four passport size photographs (colored with sky blue background) taken recently.<\/li>\n
  5. Duly filled joining Instruction form.<\/li>\n
  6. Confidential medical report from a recognized medical practitioner.<\/li>\n
  7. Evidence of payment of tuition fees and other direct student\u2019s costs.<\/li>\n
  8. A declaration of acceptance to abide by the Academy\u2019s regulations for conduct and academic requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Upon registration, students shall be issued with the following documents:<\/p>\n

    1. A copy of the student By-Laws.<\/li>\n
    2. Student Identity Card.<\/li>\n
    3. Prospectus.<\/li>\n
    4. Examination Regulations.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Fee Structure<\/strong><\/p>\n

      The Academy\u2019s fee structure shall comprise direct costs payable to the Academy and costs to be directly incurred by the students, as shown in the Table <\/strong><\/p>\n
